Owner-Operated Recording Studio — baccasound.com
Bacca Sound is a hybrid analog and immersive audio studio. Fairlight console. Dolby Atmos monitoring. High-end outboard. Careful signal path. Designed for serious work.
What We Do
Whether you're tracking one instrument or a full session, the room is set up to capture what's actually there. Clean signal path, thoughtful mic placement, and real-time access to analog color when it serves the performance.
Stereo and Dolby Atmos mixing through a hybrid workflow — analog outboard for character and dimension, Fairlight for precision and recall. Every mix is built to translate across formats and hold up over time.
The final stage. Mastering here is done on a calibrated monitoring system with a focused chain of analog and digital tools. The goal is always the same: clarity, depth, and a level of finish that makes the music feel complete.
If you're building something from the ground up, or shaping an idea that isn't quite finished, we can work through it together. The studio is set up to support creative decisions at every stage of the process.
Careful, unhurried editing. Vocal comping, timing, tuning, and cleanup done with a real ear — not just a grid. The kind of work that takes time to do right and makes everything that follows easier.
Not every project needs you in the room. Remote sessions work well here — clean file exchange, clear communication, and the same level of attention whether you're local or across the country.
Immersive Audio
Immersive audio isn't a feature that was added on — it's part of how the room was designed. The monitoring environment is built around a calibrated Genelec speaker array configured for Dolby Atmos, with real spatial depth and accurate translation to headphones and consumer playback.
If you're delivering to Apple Music Spatial Audio, TIDAL, Amazon Music HD, or another platform, the mix starts and finishes in a room built for it.
Signal Chain
The gear here isn't about volume — it's about what each piece does in context. RME handles conversion and routing with precision and reliability. The analog outboard adds character and dimension that digital alone doesn't provide. The Genelec monitoring system is calibrated to tell the truth. Every decision in the signal path was made deliberately, so the work can be trusted from the session through to delivery.

Our Story
Bacca Sound grew out of a straightforward idea: build a studio you'd actually want to work in, and fill it with gear that earns its place.
The studio centers around a Blackmagic Fairlight console, a calibrated Dolby Atmos monitoring environment, RME conversion throughout, and a carefully chosen collection of analog outboard. The signal path was designed to be precise and flexible — capable of tracking, mixing, mastering, and immersive work without compromising any of them.
This is an owner-operated studio. That means you're working with the same person, in the same room, with the same standards on every session. The artists I work best with care about how their records sound and want to collaborate with someone equally invested in getting it right.
